The 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change – or the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP28 – takes place from 30 November to 12 December 2023, in Dubai, UAE.

A voice for all the Commonwealth
The Commonwealth Secretary-General, the Rt Hon Patricia Scotland KC, is leading a team of international policy experts and climate specialists from the Commonwealth Secretariat to COP28.
The team will engage in advocacy for urgent global climate action, amplify the voice of small states and vulnerable countries of the Commonwealth, strengthen networks and partnerships and exchange knowledge and best practices to support climate change adaptation and mitigation in member countries.
Commonwealth Pavilion
The Commonwealth Secretariat is hosting a pavilion at COP28, as a hub for member countries, development partners and other collaborators to use for events, presentations and networking sessions.
