Society and young people

We support youth empowerment, advance gender equality and use sport to bring people together.
The Commonwealth works with member countries to improve the chances of young people, harness the power of sport to bring people together, advance universal healthcare, improve gender equality, and promote harmony between faiths.

Youth

The Commonwealth Secretariat’s youth development work is delivered through the Commonwealth Youth Programme, which has been supporting member countries for over 40 years.

Gender

We work to advance gender equality, women’s rights and women’s empowerment in all social, economic and political spheres.

Health

We work with member countries to improve health for all Commonwealth citizens.

Commonwealth Says NO MORE
