Commonwealth publications

The Commonwealth Secretariat’s publications are a key part of the organisation’s mission to work as a trusted partner for all Commonwealth people as a force for peace, democracy, equality, and good governance; a catalyst for global consensus-building; and a source of assistance for sustainable development and poverty eradication.

The vast majority of our publications are fully open-access, and from mid-2023 our new resources will be accessible from the publications homepage on this site. Our publishing archive covering 1969–2023 is hosted in our standalone Commonwealth iLibrary.

The Commonwealth also publishes Information Technology for Development, a leading international journal for social and technical research on the effects of information technology on economic, social and human development; and the Commonwealth Cyber Journal, which explores the benefits, challenges and risks of contemporary digital technologies.
