This third Commonwealth Sustainable Energy Transition (CSET) Report examines the current global trends in energy transitions and their impact in relation to achieving the climate change goal of carbon neutrality by 2050, as well as the 2030 SDG7. Additionally, it discusses the policy responses that Commonwealth countries (CWCs) are making to ensure energy transitions are equitable, just and inclusive, fairly distributing the benefits and managing costs across regions and vulnerable groups and communities.

The report focuses on progress towards these goals in Commonwealth countries (CWCs), with an emphasis on the SDG7 targets and indicators and the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) of these countries towards meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement.
