Climate change is no longer a distant threat. For many Commonwealth countries, particularly small island developing states and other vulnerable nations, it is a lived reality shaping economies, communities and futures. Rising seas, stronger storms, droughts, ecosystem loss, food insecurity and mounting pressure on public health systems
are testing resilience at every level. Yet access to climate finance remains one of the greatest barriers preventing vulnerable countries from translating climate ambition into meaningful action.
Through its embedded advisory model and hands-on technical support, CCFAH has contributed to the mobilisation of hundreds of millions of dollars in climate finance,
strengthened national systems, trained thousands of officials and supported a growing pipeline of projects across the Commonwealth. Beyond the figures lies an equally
important achievement: stronger ownership, confidence and national capacity to lead climate action.
CCFAH demonstrates the value of targeted, long-term and locally anchored support. When countries have access to the right partnerships, expertise and tools, they are
better able to navigate the complex climate finance landscape and advance solutions that are inclusive, resilient and transformative.
