The Commonwealth Secretariat, in partnership with Tech Against Terrorism, is inviting government policymakers, regulators, security and law enforcement officials, researchers and practitioners to attend a series of virtual workshop on preventing terrorist use of the Internet.
The guidelines for Implementation: The Whole System Approach in Addressing Violence against Women and Girls provides a collaborative framework between Commonwealth member country governments, the Commonwealth Secretariat, Commonwealth Associations, partner organisations, experts on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and civil society organisations (CSOs).

The capacity-building workshop on Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism, on which this Practitioners’ Guide is based, came at the right time for the Governing Board, Regional Peace Councils, Regional Executive Secretaries and Management of the Head Office of the National Peace Council, considering the threats posed by terrorism and violent extremism in West Africa and the Sahel and in other neighbouring countries.
