The Commonwealth Secretariat’s Debt Management Unit is holding a webinar on recording and managing risk-free interest rates using Commonwealth Meridian – a system that promotes effective and proactive public debt management.
Following the discontinuation of LIBOR and the introduction of new interest bases, Commonwealth Meridian has been updated to facilitate the recording and management of these new risk-free rates, namely: SOFR, SONIA, EuroSTR and TONA.
The webinar will include a session on ‘Recording new interest-free rates in Commonwealth Meridian Version 2.0’ and will also provide an overview of the changes to the Commonwealth Meridian system.
