Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) have emerged as a leading cause of morbidity and mortality across Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICTs), placing significant strain on healthcare systems and economic development. Recognising the urgency of addressing these issues, the Commonwealth Secretariat has provided technical support to the  legislative drafter to strengthen national and regional legal frameworks.
