Zambia is committed to the international community’s fight against climate change, and, as part of the response to the challenges linked to this phenomenon, it has established a legal, regulatory and long-term planning framework as defined in itsNationally Determined Contribution (NDC) in 2015, as part of the preparatory work before COP21, where the Paris Agreement was discussed and adopted.
The initial NDC outlines the government priorities towards achieving the targets set by the Paris Agreement.
