Hosted by the Attorney General’s Office Mauritius, the Commonwealth Law Ministers Meeting (CLMM) will convene in Mauritius under the theme: ‘Strengthening international cooperation through the rule of law and the protection of human rights.'

The Commonwealth carries a significant cervical cancer burden, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Whilst the Commonwealth represents 30 per cent of the world’s population, it carries a 40 per cent share of the global cancer incidence burden, and 43 per cent of the global mortality burden.

The Commonwealth Secretariat will host a session on 16 November from 1 - 2pm GMT at the ICC Make Climate Action Everyone’s Business Forum – a hybrid event broadcasted from the COP27 Blue Zone.

The Commonwealth Secretariat will host this roundtable workshop at Climate Law & Governance Day 2022 in collaboration with University of Cambridge Centre for Energy, Environment & Natural Resources and Governance (CEENRG) and the University of Waterloo School of Environment, Enterprise & Development (SEED).
