The Commonwealth Secretariat will convene the 16th Commonwealth Regional Conference of Heads of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Africa from 4 to 8 May 2026 in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

A Commonwealth Observer Group (COG) will be in Antigua and Barbuda to observe the country’s 2026 General Elections.

The Commonwealth Secretariat is hosting a Commonwealth Election Professionals (CEP) training event for the Commonwealth Caribbean & Americas region in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, from 20–24 April 2026.

The Caribbean is one of the most climate-vulnerable and disaster-prone regions. The region’s vulnerability stems from its geography, topography and several socio-economic factors. Despite these challenges, Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in the Caribbean have committed to ambitious Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement, covering renewable energy transitions, ecosystem protection, coastal resilience, and climate-resilient infrastructure.

On 31 March, the Commonwealth Secretariat, in partnership with Commonwealth Sport will host the 10th Annual Commonwealth Debate on Sport and Sustainable Development.
