This high-level hybrid event will examine the evolving governance, legal and institutional frameworks required to support trusted, inclusive and commercially meaningful digital trade, focusing on the needs and opportunities of emerging and developing economies.

The Commonwealth Climate Finance Access Hub (CCFAH), in partnership with the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Secretariat is hosting a training session to strengthen the technical capacities of project development specialists, GEF Operational Focal Points and climate finance advisers supporting the development of funding proposals across Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs).  

The Commonwealth will observe International Youth Day (IYD) on 12 August 2026, a day to raise awareness of the challenges and opportunities facing young people and celebrate their role as essential partners in achieving sustainable development.

The Commonwealth Secretariat, in partnership with Commonwealth Sport and the Scottish Government, will convene the 12th Commonwealth Sports Ministers Meeting (12CSMM) on 22 July 2026 in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Commonwealth Secretariat will host the 40th Commonwealth Diplomats Induction Programme on Tuesday, 7 July 2026.
