The Commonwealth Secretariat will host a hybrid rule of law seminar on the advisory opinions on climate change on 6 March 2025.

As the world faces the escalating climate crisis, this seminar will bring together legal experts to examine how advisory opinions from international courts can help clarify state obligations, strengthen accountability, and protect vulnerable communities, particularly small states adversely affected by environmental breakdown.
