An annual reception to mark Commonwealth Day was held at Marlborough House in London today.
Guests including High Commissioners, representatives of partner organisations and former Secretaries-General celebrated the work of the Commonwealth Secretariat.
The theme of this year's Commonwealth week is "A Connected Commonwealth", highlighting how friendship, goodwill and collaboration between the 53 member countries can help tackle some of the planet's biggest challenges.
The Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, former Prime Minister John Major and Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt were all greeted by the Secretary-General Patricia Scotland before being introduced to guests.
