The Commonwealth Secretariat and PATH are hosting an event titled "One Health Approach: Moving from Siloed Thinking to Smart and Systemic Action" on Thursday, 9 May 2024, at Marlborough House in London, UK. This event will gather esteemed global leaders, policymakers, and experts to address the critical intersection of human and planetary health.

Background:

Our world is grappling with the far-reaching impacts of climate change. The scientific evidence shows that we have almost reached the point of no return. This crisis is becoming an existential risk for both planet earth and human health. In essence, it is a poly crisis which threatens all forms of life. It demands a collaborative approach, common policy platforms and joined-up solutions. The Commonwealth, a voluntary association of 56 nations from across the globe and PATH, an international non-profit with a presence in more than 70 countries, are joining hands to provide a platform for dialogue and action on this front.
