Representatives of high commissions, businesses, academia, women’s rights organisations and civil society will join Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland at a special event to mark the International Day for the elimination of violence against women.
During the event, the Secretary-General will unveil a new partnership designed to reduce domestic violence in member countries.
The partnership, to be signed with the NO MORE Foundation, is designed to implement initiatives that work on the prevention of domestic violence and sexual abuse as part of wider efforts to achieve the 2030 sustainable development goals.
