Members of the Commonwealth Connectivity Agenda’s (CCA) working group on regulatory connectivity will hold their first meeting on 15-16 May at The Grosvenor Hotel in London.
The working group, chaired by Barbados, is one of five “clusters” driving the various focus areas of the CCA – a flagship initiative aimed at boosting trade amongst Commonwealth countries to at least $2 trillion by 2030.
The cluster meeting will discuss good regulatory practices, creating enabling environments for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and enhancing the ease of doing business in Commonwealth countries.
Members will outline a roadmap of activities leading up to the Commonwealth Trade Ministers Meeting in October 2019 and Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in 2020.
