Outstanding youth activists from each Commonwealth region will be honoured at the Commonwealth Youth Awards 2016.
The four regional winners of the Commonwealth Youth Awards 2016 will be announced in London, when the Commonwealth Young Person of the Year will also be revealed.
The awards recognise youth leaders under the age of 30 from Commonwealth countries whose work has significantly contributed to local, national, regional and global development.
This year’s candidates include a male reproductive rights activist, a social entrepreneur helping small farmers to access credit, and an anti-bullying activist who published her first book at age 12.
