Audit and Risk Committee

The Audit and Risk Committee is appointed by the Board of Governors to assist it in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities in respect to the Secretariat’s system of internal control and risk management. 

The Audit and Risk Committee is London based and meets four times a year.  Its scope and responsibilities are set out in the Audit and Risk Committee Terms of Reference.

Financial Statements

The Commonwealth Secretariat prepares financial statements for its three funds, Commonwealth Secretariat, Commonwealth Fund for Technical Co-operation and Commonwealth Youth Programme.  The financial statements are prepared in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
