The Commonwealth Secretariat is seeking to engage qualified in-country coordinators in Antigua & Barbuda and Trinidad & Tobago (2 positions) to assist in delivering a Blue Economy Rapid Readiness Assessment.
This short-term consultancy will include identifying and coordinating with government and stakeholders in the selected country, supporting planning and delivery of workshops, liaising with the Commonwealth Secretariat and its delivery partners to execute the project plan, and ensuring timely completion of rapid assessment consultations with stakeholders. The consultancy is open to individuals and to consortiums of more than one person.
The preferred Contractor or consultancy firm should hold the profile below, which should be outlined in a concise cover letter and CV:
- University degree required in a field relevant to this contract, such as, environmental management, marine, ocean sciences, government / stakeholder relations, etc.
- Demonstrable experience of more than 4 years in working with government departments and stakeholders; ideally, relevant to marine or coastal planning and/or climate change in the respective country;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Excellent communication skills to build collaborative relationships and supportive engagement with stakeholders;
- Skilled at managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines;
- Solid writing abilities;
- A strong commitment to partnership and collaborative approaches.

Evaluation will be based on both competency and cost. Where submissions are similar in quality, preference will be given to Contractors that are Commonwealth citizens or entities registered in a Commonwealth country.
