The Commonwealth Jewish Council, founded more than 30 years ago, has affiliate members in over 35 countries and territories of the Commonwealth.

The Commonwealth Jewish Council, founded more than 30 years ago, has affiliate members in over 35 countries and territories of the Commonwealth, organised into four CJC regions - Africa, Australasia, Europe and Western Hemisphere. It's aims are essentially threefold:

  • To support the development of Commonwealth Jewish communities and to sustain a network between them for mutual support;
  • To aid Commonwealth communities in advocacy on their behalf when required; and
  • To encourage Commonwealth Jewish communities in their efforts to contribute to the wider society in which they live.
