Sri Lanka Presidential Election 2015: Final Report

Commonwealth Secretary-General Kamalesh Sharma constituted a Commonwealth Observer Group to the 8 January 2015 Presidential Election in Sri Lanka following an invitation from the Commissioner of Elections.

Chaired by former President of Guyana, Dr Bharrat Jagdeo, the nine-member Observer Group was drawn from across the Commonwealth, and included former politicians and members of parliament, former members of election commissions and representatives of civil society and the media.
