Kamalesh Sharma said he looked forward to working with Perry Gladstone Christie and his government
Commonwealth Secretary-General Kamalesh Sharma has sent his congratulations to Perry Gladstone Christie on his appointment once more as Prime Minister of The Bahamas, following the country’s May 2012 general elections.
Mr Sharma said he looked forward to working with the Prime Minister and his government to support The Bahamas’ national and wider regional endeavours to strengthen the culture of democracy and to stimulate growth and development.
The Bahamas joined the Commonwealth in 1973.
