Public Debt Management Forum and Launch of Commonwealth Meridian

The Commonwealth will host a public debt management forum under the theme ‘Public Debt Management – Transition and Innovation’ at its headquarters in London on June 5 and 6.

The Commonwealth will host a Public Debt Management Forum under the theme ‘Public Debt Management – Transition and Innovation’ at its headquarters in London on 5 and 6 June 2019.

The forum will provide an opportunity for experience sharing and exchanging of views between public debt managers, experts from international organisations and other agencies, on recent trends, developments, opportunities and challenges in public debt management.

The Commonwealth Secretariat’s new public debt management system, “Commonwealth Meridian”, will also be launched by the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Secretariat.

The event is expected to be attended by the majority of Commonwealth member states, including senior officials from various international and financial organisations.
