The 6th Commonwealth Africa Regional Meeting for Heads of Anti-Corruption Agencies, Swakopmund, Namibia - 31 May to 4 June 2016.

The Commonwealth Secretariat, in collaboration with Namibia’s Anti-Corruption Commission, is convening the 6th Commonwealth Africa Regional Meeting for Heads of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Swakopmund, Namibia, from 31 May to 4 June 2016.

The theme for the conference is ‘Partner Exchanges and Peer-to-Peer Engagements in the Fight Against Corruption’.

The anti-corruption agencies in attendance will share emerging practices and country innovations in the fight against corruption and the promotion of good governance in the 18 Commonwealth member countries in Africa. Delegates will also strengthen professional networks and create opportunities for countries to exchange best-fit solutions.

The meeting follows the Tackling Corruption Together conference in London, which brought together global anti-corruption leaders from civil society, business and government on Wednesday 11 May 2016.

The Commonwealth Secretariat first brought together the heads of African national anti-corruption agencies in 2011 to establish the Association of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Commonwealth Africa.
