Tourism & Hospitality Climate: Cross-cutting

A Four-Star-Plus Wellness Destination at the Heart of Grenada's Medical City

Project overview

The Wellness Hotel is a planned four-star-plus hospitality component of Hope Vale Medical City, the integrated health, education and wellness campus being developed in Saint David under Project Polaris. Located alongside the new 250-bed Smart Academic Hospital, the hotel will serve medical tourists and recovering patients, their families, visiting clinicians and academics, and wellness travellers drawn to Grenada's natural setting. It will combine high-quality accommodation with wellness, rehabilitation and recovery services that complement the hospital's clinical offering. The hotel is expected to be privately financed and operated on land made available within the medical city, providing investors and hotel operators with access to a differentiated health and wellness tourism opportunity in the Eastern Caribbean.

Investment opportunity

Approximately US$100 million is sought for a four-star-plus wellness hotel within Hope Vale Medical City, serving medical tourists, patients' families and academic visitors. The hotel will support Grenada's emerging medical tourism and wellness economy, benefiting from demand generated by the Smart Academic Hospital, Premium Care and VIP Services Facility, and academic partners. Investors can participate as equity partners, hotel operators or strategic partners.
