Eswatini Eco-Fuel Industrial Park

Kingdom of Eswatini Africa

Energy Climate: Mitigation

Producing Sustainable Fuel at Scale

Project overview

The Eco-Fuel Industrial Park is a vertically integrated project encompassing both agricultural development and the industrial processing of oils into renewable fuels. The project aims to establish a commercially viable and environmentally sustainable biofuels industry in the Kingdom of Eswatini. It aligns with Eswatini’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions through the integration of renewable energy into its industries. The opportunity lies in positioning Eswatini as a leader in clean fuel production, boosting rural employment, enhancing long-term energy security, and generating export-led economic growth. Full supply chain integration, from dedicated feedstock cultivation to the production of biodiesel and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), will create a commercially attractive investment opportunity while supporting the creation of over 10,000 jobs.

Investment opportunity

The project offers investment opportunities in the large-scale cultivation of feedstock crops, including moringa and Camelina sativa, as well as the production of biofuels and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Opportunities are available for equity investors, strategic partners and lenders.
