Former President of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, today called on Commonwealth Secretary-General Kamalesh Sharma at Marlborough House in London.
The pair discussed the Commonwealth Observer Group mission for the recent elections in Tanzania, which was led by Dr Jonathan in October 2015.
Under the former President’s chairmanship, a 14-member strong team of Commonwealth observers witnessed democratic processes in the run-up, during and after election day on 25 October.
A final report on the Tanzanian election by the Commonwealth Observer Group will be issued in the near future.Â
