The project comprises a 300 MW hydropower facility integrated with 300 MW of solar generation and a 50 MW/100 MWh battery energy storage system to strengthen Cameroon's electricity supply. The project will enhance power availability within the South Interconnected Network (RIS) and the Far North through the North-South Interconnection Substation in Ntui.
Project overview
Investment opportunity
The project offers an opportunity to participate in a large-scale renewable energy platform integrating hydropower, solar generation and battery energy storage. By combining 300 MW of hydropower, 300 MW of solar capacity and a 50 MW/100 MWh battery energy storage system, the project will strengthen Cameroon's electricity supply, enhance energy security and support long-term industrial growth while reducing reliance on thermal generation.
