Session 1

During the session, panellists will consider how COVID-19 has impacted development aid across the Commonwealth. Panellists will discuss how remittances and the possible reduction of aid will affect countries.

Session 2

The discussion will focus on the gendered impact of the virus. Panellists will share what is being done to remedy the disproportionate effects on women’s livelihoods and wellbeing, as well as how to mitigate gender-based violence during periods of lockdown and social distancing.

All seminars are open to colleagues across the Commonwealth who are interested in exploring ways in which we can do more to support each other.
