Passports must be valid for at least three months from the date of departure. Visas are required by most Commonwealth nationals. Prohibited imports include ivory and marine mammal artefacts, for example of turtle shell or whalebone; and some plant species, for example certain orchids. All food; plants and plant material; animals and animal products; and golf clubs must be declared on arrival.
