Commonwealth Jewish Council

The Commonwealth Jewish Council, founded more than 30 years ago, has affiliate members in over 35 countries and territories of the Commonwealth, organised into four CJC regions - Africa, Australasia, Europe and Western Hemisphere. It's aims are essentially threefold:

  • To support the development of Commonwealth Jewish communities and to sustain a network between them for mutual support;
  • To aid Commonwealth communities in advocacy on their behalf when required; and
  • To encourage Commonwealth Jewish communities in their efforts to contribute to the wider society in which they live.
