The biennial Commonwealth Law Ministers’ Meeting (CLMM) will be taking place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 4 to 7 November 2019.
Law Ministers and Attorneys General will gather to discuss recent legal developments and issues of interest to Commonwealth jurisdictions, including electronic evidence, data protection, reform of civil procedure, international commercial arbitration, anti-corruption, access to justice, and vulnerable persons in the justice system.
Commonwealth law ministers have unanimously resolved to remove barriers to access to justice in their respective countries, and to deliver Sustainable Development Goal 16 on peace, justice and strong institutions by 2030. MORE
