Event: 2020 Commonwealth Youth Forum in Rwanda

The Commonwealth Youth Forum (CYF) helps young people:

  • build connections across countries
  • develop initiatives led by young people
  • have a voice in the future of the Commonwealth.

The forum will take place from 20 to 23 June 2020 in Kigali, Rwanda, in the runup to the biennial Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

Participants will reflect on successes and challenges since the 2018 Commonwealth Youth Forum and plan ahead for the next 2 years.

To attend the forum you must:

• be a Commonwealth citizen between the ages of 18 and 29

• have experience in youth advocacy or development; and

• represent a youth-led body, youth organisation or a special interest group (indigenous young people, young disabled people, rural youth, etc.)

The deadline to register your interest in attending the forum is 20 March 2020.
