18th Commonwealth Lecture

The 18th Commonwealth Lecture is taking place on 25 February 2016 in the Mountbatten Room at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre.

Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO will deliver the Lecture on 'Educating for Inclusion, Dialogue and Peace', which ties in closely with the 2016 Commonwealth Theme of ‘An Inclusive Commonwealth’.

The lecture will be followed by a reception in the Cambridge Room. Please note, you will need your ticket and photographic identification to attend.


Last year the theme of the 17th Commonwealth Lecture was 'Youth, Innovation and Sustainable Development: the Commonwealth in a Post-2015 World, and was delivered by the Rt Hon Helen Clark, Administrator, United Nations Development Programme and former Prime Minister of New Zealand.
