The newly arrived high commissioner of Jamaica, His Excellency Seth George Ramocan, has paid a call on the Commonwealth Secretary-General at Marlborough House in London

The newly arrived high commissioner of Jamaica, His Excellency Seth George Ramocan, has paid a call on the Commonwealth Secretary-General at Marlborough House in London.

Secretary-General Patricia Scotland and he had a wide ranging discussion about the excellent relations between the Commonwealth and Jamaica. They discussed various initiatives being carried out by the Secretariat including trade, de-risking, anti-corruption, integrity in sports and climate change. 

Mr Ramocan and Secretary-General Scotland said they would work together to ensure the new theme for the Commonwealth, “A Peace-building Commonwealth”, was a success.
