Commonwealth Secretary-General Kamalesh Sharma has expressed his sympathy to the government and people of Nigeria at the tragic loss of life caused by the Dana Air plane crash in Lagos.
Speaking from London, UK, Mr Sharma said: "I am sure I speak for the whole Commonwealth family when I offer my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to all those who have lost loved ones in this accident. We join the government and people of Nigeria as they mourn, especially those bereaved through the loss of family, friends or colleagues."
