Technical Assistance

Our technical assistance work ranges from sending both long and short term experts to work in governments and national or regional organisations to setting up projects and programmes which boost the ability of a country or region in a particular field, from trade to education.

Commonwealth Fund for Technical Co-operation

Established in 1971, the Commonwealth Fund for Technical Co-operation (CFTC) is the principal means for providing technical assistance to Commonwealth countries. It is a mutual and voluntary fund and members contribute resources according to their ability and draw on them according to their needs.
